Founder & Director General – Bareen Initiative for Development (BID)
Mr. Mohammad Nasir Saleh is a security and defence expert. He is the Founder and Director General of the Bareen Initiative for Development (BID). He previously held executive management positions at the Afghan Institute for Strategic Studies (AISS), served as Military Assistant to Afghanistan’s Minister of Defence, and was Executive Director of International Military Affairs at the Ministry of Defence of Afghanistan.
He holds a Master’s degree in Military and Security Studies from King’s College London and a Master’s degree in Defence Studies from the Defence Academy of the United Kingdom.
