Our commitment is to create positive change in the world by working towards these objectives and contributing to a more equitable and just society.

  1. Empowering young people through education, skill-building, and mentorship programs, ensuring access to fundamental human rights such as the right to work and education.
  2. Advocating for the rights of humans, vulnerable individuals, families and women
  3. Promoting sustainable development initiatives to address long-term challenges, improve communities, and ensure access to healthcare for vulnerable individuals and families and creating an intellectual space for dialogue, awareness, and support.

Inspiration:

The Bareen Initiative for Development (BID) was inspired by the desire to provide assistance, education, legal advocacy, and health services to marginalized communities of Afghanistan. The name “BID” may have been influenced by the concept of Business Improvement Districts (BIDs), which are organizations that serve a specific geographical area and aim to benefit businesses within that area. However, BID’s mission and services are distinct from traditional BIDs, focusing on supporting vulnerable individuals and communities rather than promoting business interests.

BID offers bid-writing workshops to assist schools and organizations in developing effective grant-seeking strategies. BID’s success inspires these workshops to secure funding and support.

Overall, BID’s creation was inspired by a commitment to social responsibility and a desire to impact the lives of those most in need positively. Bareen represents the concept of heaven, and we aspire to create a small piece of heaven on earth for families and communities in need.
