Bareen Initiative for Development (BID) organized an online program on the 21 June 2024 about the introduction and purpose of the program (Educational Values in Afghanistan). The speaker of this program was Mrs. Malek, a writer and human rights defender. Introduced and stated about the educational system that the correct and standardized educational system is the main factor of making a society literate and its opposite can be the main factor of illiteracy and destroys the foundations of a society.
Mrs. Malek stated the goals of the program as follows:
- Raising the level of awareness among young people about the value and place of education in the Afghan society;
- Launching online programs for women and youth on modern education;
- Trying to encourage young people to learn more and to institutionalize the culture of reading books.
At the end of the program details about the next programs and their goals were discussed.
